  • Bible Charades

We played Bible Charades with the Wilkes yesterday night. It was a lot of fun acting out small portions of the New and Old Testaments.

    The Days Of Creation

Jonathan And His Armorbearer Kill The Philistines

Joseph Is Sold By His Brothers Into Slavery

  • How Great Thou Art

O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy pow'r through-out the universe displayed.

When thru the woods and forest glades I wander And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees, When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur, And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze.

And when I think that God, His Son not sparing, Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in, That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin.

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart! Then I shall bow in humble adoration, And there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art! Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee: How great Thou art, how great Thou art!  ___________________________________________________________________________

This week I went on two photo-shooting expeditions with my piano teacher, Mr. Seidel. We went to Bull Run Park, and to Great Falls Park. These are some of the best shots that I took. I thought that my pictures seemed go well with this beautiful hymn. How Great Thou Art!

  • Are You A Fool?

This is a short biblically based quiz that I just came across on Nathaniel Darnell's Blog.  It really made me take a step back and think about how I am obeying God's commands and what I should be living for.
